Helions Activities And Covid-19 (CORONA-VIRUS)

Update – 23/05/2021 – The situation with the Corona-virus is improving, however there is still uncertainty regarding what Stage 4 of lock-down releasing means and When it will come into effect. At present we are in stage 3 and following government guidance on how we may be able to hold events at the gospel hall. Unfortunately that has meant that many of our events are still cancelled and we are needing to think carefully about how and/or when they can be restarted. If you have any questions about events, please contact us and we will get back to you. We are encouraged that we can take these matters to God in prayer during these very difficult times, knowing that He is in control of all things, and that He knows the future.

As you are aware, the coronovirus is currently spreading within the United Kingdom. We are aware that those most at risk are those aged 60 and above, especially if they have underlying health conditions. We will be praying for those who are at risk and who may be affected, as well as those who have to make the decisions about how to respond to this. We have decided to make changes to our meetings and activities over the coming weeks and months. These changes are:

  • Saturday Night Monthly Ministry Meetings – We are currently holding these virtually using zoom. Our next meeting will be shown in the calendar here. If you would like more information please contact us.
  • Explorers Both weekly Explorers and Super Sundays are cancelled. Please keep an eye on here and our Facebook page for updates.
  • Tea ‘n’ Tots – We are not currently holding these weekly, however we are looking to hold some picnics. Please look at the Facebook page for Tea ‘n’ Tots, for more details and the dates for these.

We appreciate that many people will miss having regular teaching meetings, both at Helions Bumpstead Gospel Hall and other places. We would like to draw your attention to our online library of teaching recorded at the Gospel Hall. You can access this using the link below.
