We think that it’s really important to build good relationships with families in our local community. One of the ways we do this is through Explorers, our outreach work for families with children of primary school age.

Although we are based in Helions Bumpstead village, Explorers takes place at the Chalkstone Community Centre on Millfields Way in Haverhill.

Every month, we run a Super Sunday event. You’re welcome to join us for an afternoon of games, activities and crafts, as well as a short message from the Bible. Every Super Sunday is different, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details about each event.

We’d love to see you an one of our Super Sunday events. It’s a great chance to meet other people in the community, make friends and just have a bit of fun.

Explorers is completely free. To find out more, please call Phil (07934 799628) or Abbie (07720 782187), or fill in the form here.

Or, you can speak to Tim, our Safeguarding Coordinator (07765 112267).

When your child attends Explorers for the first time, we will ask you to complete a consent form and provide us with a contact name and number.

Next Explorers is on:

Child Protection

We work with the CCPAS (Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service) to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all children and vulnerable people, providing peace of mind to parents and carers alike.
